Brenna McClintock

trauma therapy focused on meeting your individual goals and needs

Brenna’s approach to therapy is respectful, compassionate, and human. She weaves together a thoughtful appreciation for human experience with years of personal and professional experience, advanced training, and education. She works alongside her clients to support them in gaining new insights and to heal the ways their bodies have held onto past experiences so that they can show up in their lives in ways that are authentic and unique to them. Her favourite moment in therapy is when clients begin to see change in their lives and realize that feeling better is a real possibility.

Brenna skillfully integrates a wide variety of approaches to support adult clients (18+) in individual therapy. She uses Attachment Focused EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, Lifespan Integration, Ego State, inner child and parts work, narrative therapy, and other person-centred and feminist approaches in therapy sessions. She can support you in processing through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, complex PTSD, developmental trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, dissociation, perinatal mood disorders, traumatic loss, birth trauma, parenting challenges, and many other concerns.

Brenna is especially passionate about supporting new moms and birthing people in processing through any personal concerns and experiences that might impact their relationships with their children. She has nearly a decade of experience in supporting parents in building solid foundations in attachment with their young children. She can safely support you in processing your concerns and working toward your goals when you are considering pregnancy, throughout your pregnancy, and once you are caring for your children.

She feels privileged to accompany you on your journey.

Her rate is $150 per hour plus applicable taxes. It is important to her that therapy is accessible to everyone who needs it. Please contact her if you require a reduced rate.

Brenna is a registered NIHB provider in Newfoundland.
